Thousands of children in Iraq suffer from the continuing violence, particularly in Baghdad,
Anbar, Najaf, Diyala and Basra. They are deprived form their childhood, the precious time of
their lives.
And perhaps an even more terrifying is the damaging proportions and impact of the normal
physiological and psychological growth of the children, in an environment that is dominated
by murder and hate. Iraqi Association in London is launching IraqChild emergency appeal to
raise £250,000 to help Iraqi children, those who have been affected by the violence.
What your donation can buy:
£22 will pay for a child's clothing pack.
£48 will treat a child for diarrhoea and ear infection.
£75 will feed 20 orphaned children every week.
£170 will pay for a child's treatment for a month.
£1,650 will maintain a children's clinic for a month.
