We strongly condemn today's suicide twin bombs in Baghdad which devastated two busy markets,
killing over 60 people and injuring dozens. In a pleasantly crisp and clear day of Baghdad,
innocent bird sellers are becoming the latest targets of evil murderers, many women and children
were among the victims.
"A grave threat to all of us nowadays is the scourge of religious and political extremism that
manifests itself in various forms of violence, including terrorism." Said Jabbar Hasan of Iraqi
Association in London.
We send our heartfelt sympathy to those who have lost loved ones and those who have been
injured or affected by this terrible atrocity.
